Hi Folks.

I disagree with your comment that it's not safe to reef single-handed. I've been doing it safely for years with a similar setup on my previous boat and even easier with lazy jacks on my current yot.

The key to safety singlehanded is always to wear a harness lifejacket with lifelines attached at all times when your head is above the deck. when singlehanded I use four lifelines one each permanently on each jackstay and two on the harness so I can switch sides in front of the mast. All IMHO of course
